A website is operating at 'https://gc-lawyers.net/' and misusing the name and details of GC Law Ltd and the names and images SRA regulated individuals.
What is the scam?
The SRA has been informed that a website is operating at 'https://gc-lawyers.net/' and is misusing the name and address of a genuine firm, and the names of genuine solicitors (see details below).
The website misuses the names of several genuine solicitors alongside false images.
The email address provided within the website is 'support@gc-lawyers.net' and the telephone numbers of '+420 (735) 510-859' and '+44 (7459) 214-030'. The website mentions a team of 13 individuals: George Edmund, 'Alex Shtilman', 'Benas Prastas', Marilena Di Vitantonio, 'Lucas Dvorak', 'Emma Novak', Christopher John Read, 'Oliver Witek', 'Sophia Martinez', 'Lucas Bennett', 'Adrian Keller', Olivia Brown and Michael Turner.
The SRA does not authorise or regulate individual solicitors named 'Alex Shtilman', 'Benas Prastas', 'Lucas Dvorak', 'Emma Novak', 'Oliver Witek', 'Sophia Martinez', 'Lucas Bennett' and 'Adrian Keller'.
Any business or transactions through the website address https://gc-lawyers.net/ is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.

The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called GC Law Ltd (SRA ID 497396), whose genuine postal address is Advocacy House, 103-104 East Street, Hereford, HR1 2LW. The genuine firm uses the email domain @gclawltd.com and their genuine telephone number is 01432 674159.
The SRA authorises and regulates the genuine solicitors named Marilena Di Vitantonio (SRA ID 274178), Christopher John Read (SRA ID 143068) and George Edmund Cousins (SRA ID 795) who are employed at GC Law Ltd.
The genuine firm GC Law Ltd and genuine solicitors Marilena Di Vitantonio, George Edmund Cousins, and Christopher John Read have confirmed that they do not have any connection to the website referred to in the above alert.
